Sorry, folks, but I’m gonna bust this post out fairly quickly because I’m on a bit of a time crunch today. This is actually the first opportunity I’ve had all day to actually sit down in front of my laptop!
Let’s dive in with a quick re-cap of my Thursday…
I was a bit groggy getting up this morning in spite of making it to bed before 10pm last night, and I wasn’t really feeling this morning’s date with the elliptical. However, I made it there and did a basic hour long cardio session jumping back and forth between resistance levels 8 & 10. Nothing fancy, but hey, I made it there and did something, and I’m happy. I don’t think I’ll be doing any exercise tomorrow, however, because Boyfriend and I will be driving back to Cincinnati for the weekend – partially for family/friend visiting and partially to begin the process of moving out of our Harrisburg residence because we’ll be jetting outta here for our Europe trip in like 2 weeks!!! (We’re still working on finalizing details, but we have a flight booked out of Cincy to Rome April 22, and I will update you all with more details once I get myself organized…) Honestly, I’m not disappointed at all I’ll be missing a workout tomorrow. I think I need a mental health day and a nice physical break should do me good too 🙂 On Saturday morning, however, I think I’ll get up and enjoy a nice long walk around the neighborhood before we head over to my mom’s for brunch. I haven’t had a good exercise walk in a VERY long time. The weather should be nice and I’m really looking forward to it 🙂
Oh, I also taught my 11am Thursday yoga class this morning. And that sums up exercise for today. Onto….
As I was walking home from my yoga class, I was hit with a Chipotle craving like whoa!
After setting Boyfriend straight and informing him of my non-negotiable beans & guac craving, he obliged like the loving husband he is 🙂 If you care to know, my order was the following:
Burrito (with no rice), with black beans, corn, tomato salsa, cheese, lettuce, and guac on the side.
I also split chips with Boyfriend. I was one happy camper!
What is the difference between being full post-Chipotle craving, and feeling overly-stuffed post Indian dinner from Tuesday night, you ask? 1) This was more along the lines of intuitive eating (thank you Clare and so many other ladies for sharing your experiences and enlightening me :D) rather than a senseless, out-of-touch pig-out session, and 2) Chipotle does the body good!
Contrary to what I depicted above, I didn’t come home after Chipotle and crash in the recliner… I took a glorious loooooooong, hot shower and got to business packing for this weekend.
Unfortunately, that’s all I have time for today I don’t anticipate much time to post over the next few days, so I wish you all a lovely weekend and hopefully I’ll get my act together and actually have a post on Monday for you!
